About Parashuram Kund Festival:

• Parshuram Kund Mela is an annual religious fair which is celebrated near Parshuram Kund, which is an Hindu pilgrimage center situated at Telu Shati/Tailung area of the Brahmaputra plateau in the lower reaches of the Lohit River in Arunachal Pradesh.
• It falls within the Kamlang reserve forests and is inhabited by Mishmi people.
• Devotees and sadhus take a holy dip in its water each year on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, in January.
• It is also known as the Kumbh of the Northeast.
