- The Parshuram Kund Festival is to be held in Arunachal Pradesh from the 12th to the 16th of January.
About Parashuram Kund Festival:
- Parshuram Kund Mela is an annual religious fair which is celebrated near Parshuram Kund, which is an Hindu pilgrimage center situated at Telu Shati/Tailung area of the Brahmaputra plateau in the lower reaches of the Lohit River in Arunachal Pradesh.
- It falls within the Kamlang reserve forests and is inhabited by Mishmi people.
- Devotees and sadhus take a holy dip in its water each year on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, in January.
- It is also known as the Kumbh of the Northeast.
